Training Details
This training will take place all day on Friday November 1st in the Active Learning Center on the ground floor of the UAMS Library in Education II. The training is broken into three hands-on sessions, which build on the participants skills. Experienced users can feel free to attend only the sessions that are of interest to them.
The first session covers remotely connecting to a Linux server and manipulating files from a command line.
The second session covers editing and creating basic shell scripts to allow multiple tasks to be performed.
The third session covers executing jobs on the actual HPC cluster.
